Aki Beirut: Lebanon’s Newest Japanese Restaurant

Exciting news for Japanese food lovers: there’s a new restaurant in town, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Aki Beirut is now open in Antelias! It boasts a warm and welcoming setting, and a menu that will keep you coming back for more. A few dishes that need to be mentioned are the undeniably delicious rock shrimp tempura (topped with chives and delectable spicy mayo), the shiitake salad, and the luxurious wagyu beef (served with white rice, dashi, sake soy, and chilis).

The restaurant is based around two important Japanese experiences – food and music.

The space is fun, the music is great, and the sake will keep flowing!

Want something more substantial? Their special twist on a happy hour is called the Ikigai hour and it is celebrated with a special menu prudently curated by Aki. Think Plum Spritzer with Plum wine, grapefruit bitters and soda water; Pinku Geisha, with pink gin, rose syrup and Prosecco; Aki Bellini, Japanese Slipper and Asahi Spritz with Aperol, raspberry, honey, lime and Asahi beer. It’s also set to be vibrant and entertaining, and is inspired by the Japanese nightlife scene.

Ready for an unforgettable night? You know where to head to this weekend.

Open daily 5 PM -12:30 AM. Antelias Seaside Road (03 030 352).
