What to Know About Nehmat Aoun, Lebanon’s Potential First Lady

As Lebanon’s presidential elections (hopefully) draw to a close, Nehmat Aoun could potentially become the First Lady. Here’s what we could find out about her:

Family Life

Nehmat Nehmeh is married to Army Chief Joseph Aoun, and together they have two children, Khalil and Nour. They are also grandparents to little Joseph.

Education

She attended the Saint Famille Francaise in Fanar to complete her Lebanese Baccalaureate, then went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences at the Lebanese University.

Professional Career

She has worked in hospitality services, previously serving as the Director of the Hospitality Services Department at the Lebanese American University (LAU) until 2016.

We couldn’t find out much about Nehmat Aoun, but it seems that she prefers to keep her life private. According to Sky News Arabia, she aims to focus on charitable work, such as supporting families, addressing humanitarian needs, and leading initiatives that uplift the Lebanese community.
