Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium to Serve as Shelter For the Forcibly Displaced

The Banin Charity Organization announced that the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium will serve as a shelter for the forcibly displaced.

According to their announcement, the Lebanese Prime Minister, the Governor of Beirut, and the Higher Relief Commission have officially tasked Banin with managing this operation. The statement explains that the center will be ready to operate within 48 hours of the announcement, after which it will begin receiving displaced families in phases.

The organization emphasized that additional support and community cooperation will be essential to ensure the space meets basic requirements for those taking refuge.
