Just in Time for Summer, Kfarabida Opens a New Free Public Beach

Good news for beachgoers looking for a new (and free) beach to discover in Lebanon. Kfarabida, one of the most beloved coastal destinations during the summer, just welcomed a new public beach.

The project is part of the municipality’s efforts to create more accessible public spaces. Earlier this year, the municipality, led by engineer Michel Feghali, completed a seaside path for walking, running, and cycling.

The trail was designed to provide a safe and comfortable space for visitors and includes direct access to Bahsa Beach, a long stretch of rocky shoreline overlooking the Mediterranean.

The municipality also cleaned up the area, installing wooden benches where visitors can sit and enjoy the sea views.

Located just south of Batroun, the coastal town is known for its rocky cliffs, sea caves, and scenic views.

It has long been a favorite destination for swimmers, divers, nature lovers, and photographers thanks to its rich marine life and stunning coastline.

The opening of this public beach is a welcome addition to the area, giving people free access to the sea at a time when private beach fees continue to rise. It also offers a new way to experience one of North Lebanon’s most beautiful coastal spots.
