This Weekend: Celebrate Lavender Season at This Festival in Lebanon

If you’re craving a slower-paced weekend, swap the beach for blooming lavender fields. With lavender season now at its peak, the village of Kfarmeshki transforms into one of Lebanon’s most scenic summer destinations as it hosts this year’s Lavender Festival.

Kfarmeshki Lavender is Lebanon’s first lavender farm and eco-lodges nestled in lavender fields. During the festival, you’ll get the chance to wander through the purple blooms, enjoy the views of Mount Hermon, and chow down on delicious food.

If you want to make a weekend out of it, you can even stay overnight in the wooden cabins nestled among the lavender.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll find live music, local food stalls serving saj, manakish, and homemade dishes, plus a farmers’ market featuring fresh produce and handcrafted lavender products, including essential oils, soaps, honey, and more.

There’s plenty for kids too, with tractor rides through the fields, pony rides, guided village walks, and creative activities like mural painting.

More than just a weekend event, the Lavender Festival is a celebration local farmers, artisans, and the beauty of Lebanon’s countryside.
