Your Excuse to Visit Douma This Weekend: the Douma Summer Festival Returns!

We love keeping busy outside Beirut on weekends, simply because the weather is at least 70% more bearable when you’re not on the coast. If you’re looking for a fun weekend escape, you’ll want to add the Douma Summer Festival 2026 to your itinerary.

The Douma Summer Festival is bringing the heritage town to life with a packed lineup and free entry to all events. Festival lovers who want an excuse to enjoy lively crowds, shop local, and chow down on yummy bites can soak up the summer vibes in Douma.

You can also make a day of it and explore Douma’s history with a free heritage tour on Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 PM, spotlighting some of the village’s most stunning landmarks.

Taking place on August 14, 15, and 16, here’s what to expect from the upcoming Douma Summer Festival.

Friday, August 14
The festival kicks off with an opening ceremony and parade, followed by a musical tribute to Ziad Rahbani, Mnakareen Band, and a DJ set.

Saturday, August 15
Bring the family for kids’ entertainment, aerial and fire shows, then stay for live music by Ghadi Ghanem and a DJ set.

Sunday, August 16
Wrap up the weekend with traditional games, Luna, Lebanese dabke, Rony El Hage, and a final DJ set.
