If your idea of a good weekend involves running, hiking, paddling, stretching, or generally finding an excuse to get off the couch, Lebanon has plenty going on. These are the events happening this September that are worth adding to your calendar if you like to keep moving.

1. Centro Sports Festival, Centro Mall in Jnah

When: September 11 until September 13, 2026

A three-day sports festival bringing together sportswear brands, gyms, academies, games, and interactive activities at Centro Mall. It’s a good one for anyone who wants to try something new, check out local fitness communities, or simply spend a weekend around sports.

2. MOVE FEST 2026, Soult Beach in Batroun

When: September 13, 2026

Move Fest is bringing a full day of movement, fitness, and wellness by the sea, with more than 10 classes and experiences lined up throughout the day. Basically, a chance to get your workout in and then stay by the beach.

3. Sunday Run with Jounieh Run Club, Jounieh

When: September 13, 2026

Join Jounieh Run Club for its regular Sunday run and get some miles in with a running community. The club, established in 2025, organizes group runs designed to make running more social and accessible.

4. Bikfaya Eco Run, Bikfaya

When: September 20, 2026

Take your run out of the city and into Bikfaya for an outdoor race with an eco-friendly angle. It’s a good pick for runners looking to swap the usual urban route for some mountain air.

5. Hike & Yoga By The River, Batloun & Botmeh

When: September 20, 2026

Spend the day exploring the countryside around Batloun and Botmeh with a guided hike through the area, followed by a yoga session by the river. It’s basically a hike-and-reset kind of Sunday, away from the city.

6. Glow Lantern Paddle, Batroun

When: Every Tuesday to Thursday until September 24, 2026

Grab a kayak and head out onto the water after dark for a glow-lit paddle around Batroun. The evening experience runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, making it an easy midweek way to get active without giving up your usual daytime plans.
