Beirut’s Beloved SmushKies Is Opening A New Location!

The iconic dessert shop known for its gourmet goods and fresh bakes has been a Mar Mikhael staple for years, and we’re excited that it’s finally opening a new location in Beirut. SmushKies set up a little puzzle on Bliss Street to see if passersby could figure out what was opening soon.

If you haven’t spotted it, here’s the full video:

People gathered in front of the billboard to piece the puzzle together until they saw the signature skillet cookie, giving away the surprise before the final pieces even fell into place. Now, SmushKies is bringing its fresh bakes and gourmet treats to Bliss Street starting October 2026.

It’s located right next to Comsi Comsaj, so it’s kind of hard to miss. Now we know where AUB students will be getting their sugar fix.

If you’ve never tried SmushKies before (which is unlikely), we recommend trying their Cédric Grolet fruit desserts and classic chocolate chip cookies. They also drop seasonal treats,
