Melonhead: An Alternative Music Festival Coming To Beirut

Love Indie/Alternative music? Wish there was more of it in Beirut?

Good.

Meet Melonhead Music Festival: the answer to all your Indie prayers.

On the 29th of July, Melonhead Music Festival will grace Beirut Waterfront with a whopping 9 acts and some electric performances, all on one stage in the very heart of Beirut city. In a celebration of the Indie and Alternative music that Beirut lacks, this musical fiesta is a breath of fresh air for Beirut’s music scene.

Set to take place from 4 PM to 2 AM on a feel good summer Sunday, you can dance and sing the night away to some of your favorite local and international acts with a range of different vibes from rappers to DJs to Indie rock performances. Here’s who you can expect to see: Breakbot + Irfane – DJ Set (France), The Wanton Bishops (Lebanon), Roscius (France), SUPERPARKA (France), Wondergaap (Lebanon), Parks Squares And Alleys (Russia), Gizzmo (Lebanon), Ducktails (USA), K.A.R.L (Lebanon).

Tickets are being sold at the Virgin Ticketing Box Office for $33, including one drink.

To get a feel of the festival before it’s live, be sure to check them out on Instagram (@melonheadfest), Twitter (@melonheadfest) and Facebook where they’ll be updating their pages with teasers and more information on what to expect up until the day of the festival.

See you there!
