Do you think there is a relationship between art, the humanities and nature conservation? How do you think an expression of art can advocate for conserving nature and promoting sustainability? Would you like to find out what non-scientific discourses have to say and/or express about nature conservation?

Then, "ta3a ne7ke" (let’s talk) about the arts and humanities, and their relationship, influence, and expressions of nature conservation and sustainability.

Ibsar, Nature Conservation Center for Sustainable Futures, at the American University of Beirut (AUB), is organizing a Series of Debates for Fall 2011-2012 entitled Ta3a Ne7ke.

The first debate will be entitled: What do arts and humanities have to say about nature conversation and sustainable futures?

The talks will end with an eco-poetry reading and some refreshments.

  • outdoor area between West Hall and Jesup Hall.
