Maya Diab’s Look at the Cannes Film Festival: Fab or Drab?

So we all know by now that Maya Diab is a star that made headlines for her looks and her fashion sense more than anything else. The woman basically launched the corset look until everybody started wearing lingerie to events.

Teaming up again with her favorite designer and friend Nicolas Jebran, Diab wore a long white dress earlier this week at the Cannes Film Festival. The dress— well, whatever was left of it—was made out of fishnet-like glittery material and covered only her “intimate parts” with what seemed like ripped pieces of white fabric. Revealing as it was intended to be, the dress might have slipped past the classy-sexy line to reach another level that the star obviously didn’t mind avoiding.

Though it’s not a personal favorite, I think Diab’s dress is definitely worth mentioning. Half-Lady Gaga and half-Madonna, this is the kind of outfit that would make news on its own. So give us your opinion; is Diab’s dress brilliantly fab or over-the-top drab?
