The Second Annual St. George’s Day International Cricket Tournament

Sunday, Apr 27, 2014
9:30am -> 6:30pm
Université Saint-Joseph (USJ)

Celebrating England’s patron saint with what promises to be the biggest, best and most tightly fought cricket tournament in Lebanon’s history.

After the huge success of last year, this year the event has been expanded. In conjunction with the British Embassy, Souk el Tayeb, Xpress Money, XXL and 961 (as always), not only will there be the cricket itself but a food market, serving delicious and traditional ethnic cuisine throughout.

With live music, delicious food, authentic Sri Lankan dancing, drinks flowing, drums beating, fireworks exploding and much more, the USJ Car Park in Monot will turn, for one Sunday only, into a scene associated more with the Indian Premier League.

There’s more than enough to keep everyone entertained and sated throughout the day (even if, god forbid, you don’t like cricket) so come down and join in for a day of multicultural fun and games right in the heart of Beirut!
