Media Sensation Amal Hamade Dead At 41

More sad news out of Lebanon today.

Earlier today, we wrote about the loss of one of Beirut’s most cherished radio voices, Radio One host Gavin Ford who appears to have been brutally murdered in his home in Beit Meri.

Now it is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of the comedic media sensation Amal Hamade after she suffered a brain aneurism earlier today.

She became a comedic icon on Lebanese television after her famous rant about “inqaradoo el rjeil” and quickly became a staple on talk shows and the like.

Hamade was 41 at the time of her passing. Our condolences to her family, friends, and fans.
