Beirut’s Iconic Le Chef Is Back In Business

Good news!

Nearly four months after the devastating Beirut blast, Le Chef is back in business.

The iconic Gemmayze gem was completely destroyed in the August 4th explosion, leaving behind a legacy of delicious homemade dishes and meals that attracted both locals and tourists alike.

In fact, Le Chef was so loved that the Gladiator himself had donated to the fundraising campaign to help rebuild the restaurant and get it back up on its feet.

Yup.. Back in August, international movie star Russell Crowe made a generous donation in memory of his pal Anthony Bourdain who had visited Le Chef on both of his visits to Beirut, describing it as “a legendary spot, famed for its simple, straightforward, home-style classics.”

Today, Le Chef is ready to welcome you back, and Russel Crowe is thrilled to hear that.
