Lundi: Beirut’s New Coffee Shop That’ll Make You Love Mondays

Another day, another wonderful café in Beirut. The city is buzzing with new spots, and we’re having trouble keeping up. But a coffee shop that will make you love Mondays? We had to put this on your radar.

Lundi is the newest addition to the Mar Mikhael scene, located a stone’s throw away from Mac n’ Cheese and right around the corner from Kaakeh Square (if you’re still confused, here is the exact location). If you know basic French, you’d know that Lundi means Monday, and the entire concept behind this coffee shop is that it’s going to make your Mondays 99% better.

If you’re looking for a good caffeine kick before completing your work tasks, or you just want a quaint hidden gem to hang out, then stop by Lundi.

Cozy, minimalistic, and filled with its own Beirut café charm, Lundi is a sight for sore eyes. Its relaxing atmosphere and welcoming vibe makes it a wonderful spot to disconnect without leaving the city. Especially if you’re looking for some alone time.

Apart from coffee and fresh bakes, their menu features a bunch of breakfast options, including traditional Lebanese delights. Toast with labne and makdous, manouchet zaatar and jebne, grilled halloumi, and more!

But if you want to stick to something sweet and simple, they offer tasty cookies, cakes, and even cookie dough by a local business called The Cookie Dough. You’ll love their chewy peanut butter-flavored ones!

Lundi is open every day except Sundays, starting 10 AM. For more information, make sure to check out their Instagram.

See you Lundi!
