After a trending hashtag came a ridiculous clarification.
#الفرزلي_في_ذمة_الله (loosely translated to, Ferzli is dead) was trending hard for the better part of yesterday on Twitter. Seemingly set up by people goading the notoriously temperamental MP into a state of rage, Ferzli walked right into the trap and released a hilarious statement to reveal that he was, in fact, very much alive.
First, he put out a piece of poetry by Al Mutanabi:
The replies were hilarious. And if that wasn’t enough, Ferzli decided to call into Al Jadeed’s Sunday evening program to say that he was alive and like a tiger:
