Not long ago, Al Abdullah launched a campaign with the slogan: “Al Abdalla ✅ Al 7ayalla ❌”. A month later, a new chicken joint opened under the name “Al 7ayalla”, sparking a huge buzz on social media.
Located in Khalde (where Ahmad Al Abdalla’s old branch once was, by the way), the new joint is packed with people curious to try it out.

People were speculating that it’s actually their competitor Ahmad Al Abdalla who took advantage of the campaign and opened their own joint under the name Al 7ayalla. However, the last four digits of the number listed for Al 7ayalla are the same as Al Abdalla’s.
So now everyone’s wondering…is it a clever competitor? Or is Al Abdalla playing both sides for the ultimate marketing stunt?
It’s just your average chicken joint, so it serves the same things that Al Abdalla does—but for half the price. Their chicken sandwich will cost you $2.5 compared to the $4.5 from Al Abdalla.
