Send this to that one friend that’s always like “I’m nOt aRaB i’M pHeOniCiaN”.

Lebanon’s first interactive digital museum lets you step into a civilization thousands of years old. Opening in Spring 2026, it will turn the country’s ancient history into a living, walk-through experience.

Step into a world where Phoenician life unfolds around you. Each scene places you among sculptors shaping stone, traders navigating bustling ports, and explorers charting the seas. Witness the rise of empires, the spread of trade networks, and the creation of the alphabet that would shape writing.

Through a blend of digital lighting, cinematic sound, and storytelling, the experience takes you on a sensory and emotional journey where you relive the beginnings of our civilization. From the invention of the alphabet to the expansion of trade across the Mediterranean, and the profound impact it left on the cultures that touched our shores.

The project is produced by Hybrid Xperience in partnership with the Municipality of Jbeil and the Ministry of Tourism. It was unveiled at a press conference attended by Minister Lora Lahoud and Jbeil’s Mayor Joseph El Chami.

The goal is to bring Phoenician heritage to life in a modern, interactive way, offering tourists and culture lovers a fresh, innovative perspective on Lebanon.

Roy Ghazi, founder of Hybrid Xperience, highlighted that the project merges history, art, and technology, transforming visitors into “travelers” at the heart of the Phoenician world.

Using digital art and artificial intelligence, the museum brings history to life. It also showcases Lebanon’s capacity for cultural innovation and its ability to revive ancient civilizations through technology.
