Every Thursday at Multiverse in Hamra: Meet Kittens for Adoption!
Shelters across Lebanon are filled with cats and kittens looking for loving forever homes. To support Meow Haven, a beloved cat adoption center in Saida, Multiverse in Hamra is welcoming their rescue kittens to Beirut every Thursday for meet-and-greets, playtime, and hopefully, a chance to find their future families.
The weekly event aims to help abandoned cats find loving homes while raising funds to support Meow Haven’s ongoing care and adoption efforts.
During the war, Meow Haven also opened its doors to cats belonging to displaced families, while working to rescue those left behind in heavily damaged areas. The shelter provided them with a safe place to stay and cared for them free of charge, with the promise of reuniting them with their families once they were able to return home.
What’s Happening at Meowverse?
Every Thursday from 4 PM to 10 PM, Multiverse in Hamra welcomes cats and kittens, with cat trees, scratchers, treats, and cat-themed trinkets to shop from. The entrance fee is only $5, and proceeds will be going to Meow Haven to support their adoption center.
Your entry fee gives you access to Multiverse’s collection of board games, so you can settle in for a few games between cuddles. You can also shop for cool collectibles if you’re into comic books, figurines, and all kinds of anime merchandise.
But if you’d rather spend the day petting cats and chatting with friends, grab a coffee and some snacks from Checkpoint, the café corner serving up refreshments to keep players fueled throughout their visit.
