Q Calling the Shots Vol. 3 – The Digital Age

Always on the forefront of the avant-garde and cutting edge, Q is pleased to present the Digital Age: Language Of The Codes.
This is the third and last installment of the Calling the Shots series.

The show explores the manipulation of information and its effect on the aesthetic of art. The concept is based on the digital revolution, and carries the ramifications of a shift from traditional art forms to the digital medium.

The map of the show is based on the QR code, which consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background.

Users with a camera phone equipped with the correct reader application can scan the image of the QR Code to display text, contact information, connect to a wireless network, or open a web page in the phone’s browser. This act of linking from physical world objects is known as a hardlink.
