Koullouna: A Piece Of Lebanon In A Box

Meet Koullouna, a startup founded back in February 2017 that aims to reconnect Lebanese expatriates with their country by sending them a little piece of home every month.

It all started with one very young, very passionate and very nostalgic diaspora, Marielle Khayyat, who was later joined by Pascale Comaty and Joseph Sayegh.

Their shared sense of adventure brought them together, but their deep-rooted love for Lebanon helped birth the startup.

In short, Koullouna creates boxes that hold handpicked products made in Lebanon and then sends them off to subscribers all over the world. The purpose behind the initiative is to connect the homesick diaspora with the little things they left behind.

The components of each box include: new Lebanese products, classic loved Lebanese products, the stories behind each product, a postcard illustrated by a Lebanese designer, and the positive Lebanese initiative of the month.

The Lebanese initiative of the month allows the diaspora to give back to their country from afar with 10% of their subscriptions being donated to organizations like Kunhadi, Live Love Beirut, Lebanese Food Bank, Ouzville, MARCH, and many more!

A piece of home in every box, Koullouna has a set package for every occasion. Sobhiye, Jam3a, Kankaneh and A3yed, each box brings you closer to your family and friends back home.

One of our personal favorites is the Darouriyet box, which inludes zaatar, hommos, olive oil soap, and childhood biscuits like Unica and Dabke.

Aside from being a perfect monthly addition to the life of an expatriate, the boxes are also a perfect gift to anyone living abroad.
