Ballouta: Lebanon’s Very First All Vegan Cafe

In an effort to accommodate the growing number of non-meat eaters in Lebanon and this shift in lifestyle, the vegan scene continues to expand and thrive in the country, welcoming new additions to the market.

The most recent and impressive addition is Ballouta Vegan Goods, Lebanon’s first ALL VEGAN Café.

After 5 years of supplying coffee shops, restaurants, and special events with vegan delicacies, Ballouta finally opened its doors to the public this month.

Take the trip to Jounieh, near Centre Versailles, and prepare to spend a long time drooling over their extensive ALL-VEGAN menu.

From sandwiches and burgers, to sushi and shawarma, you will find anything and everything you crave here as Ballouta veganizes ALL your cravings.

Now you can enjoy drinks, desserts, sandwiches, salads and even play board games at Ballouta’s.

You can also shop vegan products from their “local vegan market” section.

Encouraging people to eat well, Ballouta facilitates the shift to the vegan lifestyle, making it easy and accessible and creating a community where everyone can feel proud about their day-to-day choices!

Taking the decision to venture into the vegan lifestyle does not necessarily mean having to give up good chocolate. Ballouta bakes 100% vegan chocolate cakes that are 200% delicious, as well as decadent donuts and chewy cookies!
