Mylos: A Taste Of Greece In The Heart Of Beirut

The food scene in Mar Mikhael has just added a new Greek tavern for you to put on your Beirut food bucket list, serving up delectable flavors of the Mediterranean.

Where the taste of Greece is only a bite away, the new restaurant Mylos is serving signature flavors and generous portions.

Start your meal off with an assortment of their dips and perhaps a portion (or two!) of their delicious spanakopita pastry with mixed feta and spinach.

Fresh salads and tasty nibbles are also up for the taking, but their moussaka is truly a must-try. With layers of oven-baked eggplants, minced beef, slices of potato—all generously coated in Bechamel and red sauce with parmesan cheese on top, this baked delight will keep you coming back for more.

You can also enjoy a variety of orzo bowls, each made to satisfy a different palate. Those who prefer a juicy kebab can opt for their kebab orzo bowl, and if you’re in the mood a seafood mix, try their island bowl which is topped with shrimp, calamari, grilled veggies, and a special walnut sauce.

For lovers of the Greek-style spit-roasted meat dishes, don’t miss out on their souvlaki (marinated skewerS), served with pita bread and a delicious tzatziki dip.

So, what are you waiting for? Take your tastebuds on a trip to Greece! Check out Mylos on Instagram.
