Show Your Support for the Online Marathon For Equality

Do you believe in equal rights for all, regardless of religion (or lack thereof), race, and sexual orientation? Were you positively aghast at the recent Dekweneh occurrence and the degrading treatment of the individuals included? Are you reasonably good at writing and want to share your opinion?

If your answer to all three is yes, excellent.

You’ve got until May 15 to show your support for a much-needed cause in Lebanon: The Online Marathon for Equality. It’s relatively simple—all you’ve got to do is write about the Dekweneh controversy and, more generally, about LGBTQ in Lebanon and email it to raynbow.org@gmail.com.

Published on LebIDAHO.com and shared on Lebanese LGBT Media Monitor, each post will be put to vote, and the most liked three are going on to be published in Barra magazine. Each of the three winners will also receive a free dinner for two at Bardo.

So get your typing skills at the ready and take to your laptop—because the winners will be announced in just two weeks— on the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHO) on May 17. Now’s the time to speak up. Or rather, write up.
