Introduction to Fashion Illustration with Ahmed Amer.

This workshop focuses on the basics of illustration and fashion illustration. The course is split into three stages,.
– Basics including lines, circles, fast model drawing, etc.
– Shadows and perspectives
– Rendering.

This is an interactive workshop including group work and live model drawing.
Please purchase and bring your own A3 sketchbook. All other supplies will be provided.

About the Instructor
Ahmed Amer is a currently enrolled as a CSB student. Ahmad’s fascination with fashion began with a penchant for illustration at the tender age of three, when he would draw his mother’s dresses. Ahmad entered Lebanon’s public Lebanese University in the field of Interior Architecture, which he thought would give him a design foundation he could build upon, as he remained determined to pursue fashion design. Ahmad is joining Creative Space Beirut for the 2014-2015 academic year. He is confident that he will gain an enriched education through our methods of cooperation, exchange and creative freedom.

Ahmad holds a BA in Interior Architecture from Lebanese University. He also works as a freelance illustrator and has contributed as a set designer and art director to various projects. He has previously taught illustration and composition courses.
