3000 Nights Movie Screening at LAU

The Palestinian Cultural Club at LAU Beirut Campus invites you to the screening of the highly anticipated and internationally awarded movie “3000 Nights” followed with a discussion led by movie director Mai Masri.

This screening is done in collaboration with the “Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World”, the “Department of Communication Arts”, the “Intersectional Feminist Club”, and the “Cinema Club” at the Lebanese American University, Beirut Campus.

3000 Nights is the story of Layal, a newlywed Palestinian schoolteacher who is falsely accused and incarcerated in an Israeli prison, where she gives birth to a baby boy. Through her struggle to protect her child and her relationship with the prisoners around her, she finds the strength to stand up for herself and fight for her son.
