1. Beirut International Film Festival



What: Beirut International Film Festival is 20 years-old this year, and it’s still going strong. On this year’s anniversary, the festival prominently focuses on the complex and pressing social challenges that face the world today, such as migration because of war, poverty, corruption, dictatorship, racism, and human rights. It tells a story of humanity that evokes real emotions and sensations in viewers so they in turn can become key players in the current world.

2. Souk el Akel Comes to Saida!



What: The same food market you’ve all come to love is going South this weekend to Saida.

Where: Municipal Stadium road, Saida

3. Movie Screening: Tall Al Zaatar



What: Watch the screening of ‘Tall Al-Zaatar’ by directors, Mustafa Abu Ali and Jean Chamoun, following 41 years of the massacre. This film has been restored the rushes and the Arabic copy- which was destroyed, lost, and stolen during the 1982 invasion. They also digitized 9 hours of of related footage.

5. Stir It Up!



What: Rootsrumreggae crew in collaboration with Loco Beach Resort are pleased to present to you the final blazing Day & Night beach party of the Summer so you can STIR IT UP for one last time.
