Lebanese Bank Manager Found Murdered In Hazmieh

According to the National News Agency, a Lebanese bank manager was found murdered in the parking lot of his home in Hazmieh earlier today. Preliminary findings show that he was struck over the head with a sharp object.



Local media identified the victim as Antoine Dagher, Head of Group Ethics & Fraud Risk Management at Byblos Bank.

After the receiving the news of his death, Byblos Bank reportedly released a statement offering their condolences to Dagher’s family, friends, and colleagues. They also announced that they’re waiting for authorities to launch an investigation into the murder.

There is no information as of yet regarding the motive behind the murder.
