Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim has decided to freeze the assets of 20 Lebanese banks, as reported by the National News Agency.
He also imposed a freeze on the assets of the banks’ owners and board members.
This comes after the suspicious transfer of $2 billion during bank closures in October.
