Six days after the devastating blast the rocked Lebanon’s capital, the Lebanese cabinet has officially resigned.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Hassan Diab through a live speech addressing the nation.
The cabinet resignation was first confirmed to local media by Health Minister Hamad Hassan earlier today, as he left the cabinet session held at the Grand Serail.
This comes after four of the cabinet’s ministers individually submitted their resignation, including one prior to the blast.
In this vicious political game that the ruling class is still playing, every decision they take is dodgy and far from being for the benefit of the people.
We can’t help but wonder, and fear, what the future holds for Lebanon.
