ANOTHER Massive Fire At Beirut’s Port
Happening right now (1:20 PM Beirut time), a massive fire is ablaze at the entrance of Beirut’s port.
Earlier this week on Tuesday, we all found ourselves in a panic when verified footage of a fire at the Beirut port was circulating on social media. It wasn’t until later that we discovered that the fire was intentionally caused by Civil Defense teams who were clearing up rubble and remnants from the blast. This was done in compliance with the Lebanese Army, who explained that fire fighters were available at the scene and have now extinguished the flames.
We are not sure what the cause is at this point, and will keep you posted.
