Multiple Fires Erupted In Various Areas Around Lebanon Last Night
Wildfire season has been very cruel to Lebanon this year, especially with the absence of any preventative measures in place. Lebanese fire fighters and Civil Defense units are also working with little to no equipment.
Several fires erupted after late last night/early this morning, most of which in the South of Lebanon. Of the areas affected were Qalaat Shaqif in Nabatieh:

We all remember the 104 devastating fires that took place in Lebanon last October, and it truly seems like that was the tipping point for much of the country.
