Kfardebian Named Arab Winter Resort Capital For 2024

The Arab Tourism Organization, an organization promoting and developing tourism in the region, named Lebanon’s Kfardebian the Arab Winter Resort Capital for 2024. Selected among 22 Arab countries, the popular winter destination boasts the region’s largest and most extensive ski slopes.

Kfardebian is renowned as a remarkable year-round destination, with its true magnificence shining during the winter season. The area boasts a diverse selection of accommodations, ranging from hotels to Airbnb rentals, strategically situated near Kfardebian’s awe-inspiring natural wonders and historical sites.

The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon Waleed Bukhari, Lebanese Tourism Minister Walid Nassar, and a number of representatives from the Kfardebian municipality attended a ceremony in celebration at the Mzaar ski resort.

It is with great pride that we celebrate this title, but we’re kind of wondering…isn’t Lebanon the only Arab country with the ideal climate for a proper winter season and plenty of resorts? Isn’t this just winning by default?

Anyway…congratulations!
