International Community Rallies for Lebanon and Palestine

Thousands of protesters have gathered in cities across the United States and Canada to call for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza. The international community rallied in cities like New York, Boston, Chicago, LA, Washington in the United States, as well as Ottawa and Montreal in Canada, where protesters flooded the streets, waving Lebanese and Palestinian flags.

In DC, protestors marched from the White House to the Washington Post headquarters, chanting “Hands off Lebanon!” and “From Gaza to Beirut, all our martyrs, we salute!”

They further called for an immediate arms embargo, pressing President Joe Biden to stop U.S. military aid to the occupation. Meanwhile, protestors in Canada condemned the country’s lack of response to the escalations.

Many rallies will be taking place this week across the globe, with an upcoming rally in Paris, France on Friday, September 27 at 6:30 PM in Place de la République.

Please share any upcoming rallies so we can direct our readers abroad who wish to participate and join the international community. For updates, follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
