100% Coverage for Hospital Care: New Measures from the Health Ministry

Public Health Minister Dr. Rakan Nassreddine announced during a press conference the expansion of health, hospital, and pharmaceutical services provided by the Ministry for displaced people and all Lebanese amid growing humanitarian needs. He affirmed the ministry’s national responsibility in ensuring care for everyone.

Treating the Wounded

The Health Ministry will cover treatment costs for all injured individuals in both public and private hospitals, regardless of insurance status.

100% Health Coverage

Full healthcare coverage is now available in public hospitals for all uninsured Lebanese, including displaced persons and host communities, during the ongoing crisis. This includes fixed support for emergency/urgent care, select private hospitals based on displaced populations’ needs, and extra aid for insured patients’ out-of-pocket costs.

Dialysis and chemotherapy patients receive full coverage anywhere, with a complete commitment to uninterrupted care.

Available Medications

Medications for chronic and non-chronic diseases are being distributed via primary healthcare centers, shelters, and new mobile clinics. Free vaccinations are also available. Supplies last over three months, including cancer drugs and treatments for intractable diseases.
