“During the visit w/ our Chanellor [sic], I did offer to help improve the whole electricity value chain and have our team to come in and assess what’s best for the people. No response yet from [Lebanese] Government. Our door is open! Offer still good. Call Anytime!”
@JoeKaeser I have a serious question did Siemens present or discuss any offer to the Lebanese government or @CesarAbiKhalil regarding the electricity?

Yes, we did. During the visit w/ our Chanellor, I did offer to help improve the whole electricity value chain and have our team to come in and assess what’s best for the people.

Are you consumed with rage yet?
That is what the CEO of the German company Siemens Joe Kaeser tweeted after being asked by Twitter user Yara Alandary asked him to confirm rumors of this offer.
Welp, take your time sweet government. It’s not like we’re hemorrhaging money paying for generators and shit. In a country where some areas are experiencing up to 16 hours of power outages, surely there’s no need to respond to an offer like this. Thanks a lot! Keep up the fantastic work!
