Mother Killed With Her Baby In Her Arms During Crossfire At Shatila Camp
A heart-wrenching video has been making the rounds on social media, showing the exact moment a mother dropped dead while holding her baby in her arms.
We won’t be sharing the video out of respect to the deceased and her family, and to viewers as it could be too triggering.
Local media are reporting that the woman, identified as Woroud M.K from Tripoli, was killed when she got caught in crossfire at Shatila Camp.
The 28 year old mother was simply passing by with her child when she was shot dead by random gunfire that arose during a conflict between drug dealers.
In the video, you can see bystanders immediately fleeing, leaving the mother as her blood ran. She was later transported to a hospital in critical condition, where she succumbed to her wounds. There is no saying how the outcome could have been different had they helped her, as the bullet had reportedly penetrated her skull.
An innocent child lost his mother in front of his own eyes in a split second because we apparently live in a state of chaos. May her soul rest in peace.
