20 Tons of Hoarded Baby Formula Found To Be Expired
Pictures of hoarded and expired milk have been circulating on social media platforms, sparking anger amongst many.
According to Al-Jadeed, the estimated amount of milk in these pictures comes close to 20 tons, all of which is baby formula for toddlers aged 3 and below. They point out that these quantities were stored in a warehouse and were hoarded after having reached their expiry date.
This takes place amid Lebanon’s most dire and devastating economic crisis, one that has people scouring for vital medications that have become scarce across all of Lebanon’s pharmacies.
