Lebanon’s Crises Kill 3 People In The Past 24 Hours
Heart-wrenching news has been circulating in the media since last night, July 11th, as a total of three people have sadly passed away due to Lebanon’s power and medicine shortages.
As the exacerbating crisis continues to dwell over the citizens, baby Joury el Sayyed became the youngest victim of governmental negligence.
According to local media, the young girl’s parents were unable to find the right medication to lower her rising temperatures. The young girl suffered from an illness that could only be treated by an out-of-stock medication, which they were forced to find an alternative for. She did not respond well, resulting in an infection and a significant rise in her temperature.
The hospital reportedly released a statement saying she arrived at the hospital with severe hypoxia and septic shock. The family told Annhar that no hospital beds could be provided for Joury, leading to her death on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, as power outages have proven to be another fatal consequence of governmental negligence, young man Hadi Hadba took to his Facebook expressing grief and anger as he shares the horrific news of his father’s death. Hadba’s father was in constant need of his oxygen machine to breath, the lack of electricity has caused the machine to stop. The old man sadly passed away minutes after.
Yet another victim is Omar Gilani, a young man who was simply trying to fix his water and electricity cuts on the roof of his own home. Upon reaching the roof, Omar slipped and fell from the fifth floor, dying instantly.
