Blockades Placed For Parliamentary Session Lead To Tragic Death

On Monday, a session was held to grant confidence to the new government amid a deepening economic crisis. Several cement blockades were placed in the area surrounding UNESCO prior to the session but were not removed after its conclusion.

This negligence led to the tragic death of Mohamad Samir Ahmad, who was returning from work near UNESCO. The unlit streets left Mohamad unable to see the blockades, as he drove his motorcycle into the cement, leading to his death.

Another instance of a failed government with absolutely no regard for their already suffering, crisis-hit nation.

May he Rest In Peace.
