Fights Overtake Lebanon As We All Lose Our Sh*t
Palm Sunday was marked with several unconnected brawls and fights breaking out across Lebanon for seemingly no reason other than…we’ve finally lost it!
To kick things off, a fight during yesterday’s Sagesse-Riyadi match halted the game just seconds before the third quarter. Security forces removed the audience from the stadium, and tens were injured during the altercation. The championship will reportedly carry on without an audience (lol).
Shortly thereafter, videos of a huge brawl taking place at Jounieh’s Sultan Ibrahim restaurant were circulating online. No details were given about the nature of this bizarre fight.
It seems like tensions were running high at other Lebanese restaurants, too. Another fight also broke out at Al Saniour in Jal el Dib:
And if that wasn’t enough, this took place at a Ramadan event in Saida:
