Annual Festival Lecture with Wajdi Mouawad at Bank Audi

As part of the Beirut Spring Festival 2013, the Bank Audi headquarters will be hosting the annual festival lecture. This year, Lebanese-Canadian writer Wajdi Mouawad will be the guest of honor.

Wajdi Mouawad is a rarity in theatre because of his multiple talents and ability to appeal to different generations and cultures. He writes in French, but his plays transcend specificities of language to stimulate the mind and touch the heart. He is a multicultural playwright and director whose theatre work is recognized for its moral impulse.
