A filmic image of war, fear and the beauty in life - is based on the life of Bilal Abdallah.
Bilal Abdallah was born in war and chaos in a refugee camp in Lebanon in 1976. He arrived in Denmark as an unaccompanied refugee together with his brother when he was 10 years old.
Through sound and picture fragments, experiences and discoveries emerge through memories jumping between his childhood in war-torn Beirut and his upbringing in Gellerup in Aarhus.

  • Accompanied by live performances by poet Bilal Abdallah, Nay flute player Abdulnasser Ali Badran and director Soren Marcussen.
  • Free Entry
