A video posted by content creator Zouhour El Mounajjed has ignited an intense online discussion regarding discrimination and entry policies at private beach resorts in Lebanon. In her video, El Mounajjed shared an experience she claims took place at Nowhere Beach, a popular summer destination located in El Heri, Chekka.
According to El Mounajjed, she visited the beach with her mother and a friend who wears a hijab. She alleges that the group was denied entry because of her friend’s religious head covering. El Mounajjed said that while she and her mother were dressed in standard swimwear, beach staff reportedly told them that the venue caters to a crowd that primarily wears bikinis, which she claims was used as the reason for refusing entry.
This is not the first time Nowhere Beach has faced criticism regarding its treatment of hijabi visitors. Several Google Reviews posted over the years include allegations from individuals claiming that women were denied entry because they wore a hijab.

The incident has reignited conversations online, with many social media users discussing inclusivity and dress code policies at private beach resorts across Lebanon. At the time of writing, Nowhere Beach had not publicly responded to the allegations.
