In an interview with the Sarde After Dinner podcast, lead singer of the Lebanese Indie band Mashrou’ Leila, Hamed Sinno, revealed that the band is not currently planning any projects together.
Sinno was asked if the “project is over” and if the bandmated plan on ever coming back, to which he replied “so far, no.”
The Lebanese band was formed at the American University of Beirut in 2008, and had 7 initial members: Hamed Sinno, Haig Papazian, Carl Gerges, Firas Abou Fakher, Andre Chedid, Omaya Malaeb, and Ibrahim Badr.

They have been influential on the Arab pop music scene, releasing a series of hit albums and beloved songs. The band is known for its genre-bending mixture of traditional eastern and western musical styles.
